Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH, Farrel Corporation, and Pomini Rubber & Plastics Srl integrated to form HF MIXING GROUP in 2010. Individually, the three companies have a rich history of introducing innovative products and solutions to the polymer processing industry and are leaders in mixing technology.

As separate companies, Farrel Corporation and Pomini Rubber & Plastics Srl possess over 100 years’ collective experience in polymer processing. Farrel Corporation began in the 1840s during the Industrial Revolution of the United States when the company operated as a foundry and equipment manufacturer for the rubber industry. Since introducing the FCM™, Farrel Continuous Mixer in 1963, Farrel has remained at the forefront of new developments and innovations in the polymer processing industry.

Pomini was founded in 1886, originally manufacturing and reconditioning equipment used in cotton manufacturing. In 1949, Pomini began manufacturing equipment for the rubber and plastics industries.
