Leading innovations to advance Continuous Mixing Technology

Farrel is the originator of Continuous Mixing Technology introducing the first FCM™, Farrel Continuous Mixer in 1963. Today, FARREL POMINI works to advance the technology forward with innovations and new applications.

Along with the Customer Demonstration Facility located in Ansonia, Connecticut, USA is the state-of-the-art FARREL POMINI Research and Development Center. In addition to the production sized Continuous Mixing line and laboratory sized processor, the Research and Development Center has an additional processing line, enhanced feed systems, downstream configuration options and analytical equipment.

The Research and Development Center is supported by development activities at the Customer Demonstration Facility located in Rochdale, United Kingdom.

The activities of the Research & Development team focus on three general areas:

• Product developments that provide efficiencies and additional value to our current customers
• Machine developments, both incremental and significant, that will provide value to our current customers as their markets evolve and for customers who are new to continuous mixing technology
• Application development to enhance the breadth of companies that will find continuous mixing beneficial
