FARREL POMINI Celebrates 175 Years in Business and 60 Years of the FCM™, Farrel Continuous Mixer with Event at Company’s Headquarters in Ansonia, CT

Ansonia, CT (October 20, 2023)... On a sunny, beautiful day in late September, over 150 current and retired employees gathered at FARREL POMINI headquarters in Ansonia, CT to celebrate the company’s 175th year in business, and the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the company’s flagship machine, the FCM™ (Farrel Continuous Mixer).

Ian Wilson Co-CEO of FARREL POMINI’s parent company, HF MIXING GROUP, attended the event. Paul Lloyd, FARREL POMINI Business Unit Director and President for Farrel Corporation, led a communications meeting, and each company department presented demonstrations of their work. Displays commemorated the company’s history and milestones.

After the company meetings, employees enjoyed numerous games and outdoor activities including lawn games, a rock-climbing wall, axe throwing competition, and more. A New England lobster bake was held, and several food trucks from the local area were also brought in to serve a variety of great foods.

Of the many attendees, around 30 were retirees, including 102-year-old Catherine Pelletier, who worked for the company for forty years.
